MTW is the first online news platform for the video gaming community. Inspired by the athletes who play and train for 16 grueling hours a day. We set out to define the real culture of the sport. By shifting perceptions from nerdy gamers to athletes in the online arena. We developed a monogram from the letters MTW. Creating a branded icon for the MTW team, a badge worn and loved by supporters. The monogram comes to life in different ways. Signifying the different genres of game-play, creating a dynamic identity. Forming an identity and graphic language that engages with gamers and gaming fans across the world. Representing the gamer as a heroic, biblical character speaks to the gravitas of online gaming.
