Simon Mortimer is multi-award winning Creative Director working in New York & London. Having a penchant and deep respect for art, design, and all creative facets since his early years, Simon has paved a strong and diverse career.
Working in London at award-winning, multi-disciplinary agencies, Simon developed a unique understanding of brands and consumer needs.
With his on-going emphases on boldness, thoughtfulness, and directness in all facets of design and communication, he worked with globally renowned brands such as The BBC, John Lewis, Fortune Magazine, Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, Wimbledon, EMI, Hilton Hotels, and many more. His work would go on to be featured in industry-recognized online and printed publications as well as exhibited in London.
In 2014, Simon would fly across the Atlantic to New York where his acute attention to detail, diverse brand work, and innovative design process were met with enthusiasm and acclaim.
After a successful decade at the helm of creative agencies, Simon noticed a fragment in the traditional agency model and decided it was time for a change.
In 2018, Simon would set up A-B-D, a unique agency model putting client needs first and foremost. Designed to offer clients a personalized and streamlined approach to creative work, A-B-D (or Associates by Design) was built to work on an individual level with clients as partners. Through an intimate and tightly curated project team, A-B-D’s mission is to understand brand challenges and collaboratively develop creative solutions that engage with audiences on an emotional level.
